2. Summary
Pueblia does not require an account to browse rankings and town pages. We show information built from open data and public sources on our servers. Analytics run in your browser only if you accept cookies; YouTube videos load only when you choose to play them. The Recommended application form is posted to our servers and emailed to us (Resend / SMTP).
3.1 Essential preferences (cookie and localStorage)
We use technical storage so the site works as you expect:
- Cookie pueblia-places: cities / villages filter on listings.
- Site language preference (next-intl / browser handling).
- localStorage pueblia-cookie-consent: your choice to accept or reject analytics.
3.2 Analytics cookies (optional)
If you press “Accept cookies”, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC, ID G-J61E36Q6FB) with prior consent (Google Consent Mode: analytics denied by default until you accept). It may collect page views, duration, device, traffic source, and approximate location.
If you press “Reject”, analytics storage stays off. You can change your mind via Cookies in the footer (the page reloads and the notice appears again).
3.3 Advertising
We do not currently load ad networks or advertising cookies in your browser. We may show outbound links to third parties (e.g. Idealista or Wikipedia). If we later add advertising scripts or cookies, we will update this policy and the cookie banner to ask for specific consent first.
4. Municipality data (server)
For rankings and town pages, our systems aggregate public and open sources (e.g. INE, SEPE, SETELECO, transport operators, CCAA tax gazettes, housing and other open data). That processing happens on the server; it is not visitors’ personal data.
Scores and rankings are indicative. Always double-check with town halls and official agencies before you decide.
5. Content your browser loads
5.1 Images and links
While using the site, the browser may request third-party resources (maps or images from providers, Idealista, Wikipedia, official sites). Those domains may log the request. Pueblia does not control their policies.
5.2 YouTube videos (on your action)
If you play a video on a town page, we embed a YouTube player (Google). That happens only after your click. Google may use cookies under its privacy policy.
6. Recommended application
Recommended applications are submitted through the form on Pueblia and emailed to us (Resend / SMTP). We process the content only to assess the request. Legal basis: consent and legitimate interest in managing editorial collaborations.
7. Legal basis (GDPR)
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — analytics cookies and any future advertising.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) — operating the site, technical preferences on your device, and showing public-source information.
- Consent / pre-contractual steps — Recommended application emails you send us.
8. International transfers
Google (Analytics, YouTube) and other providers named here may process data outside the EEA. Google states safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Retention
- Google Analytics (if active after consent): per property settings (e.g. 14 months).
- Filter cookie and consent localStorage: until you clear them or use Cookies in the footer.
- Application emails: as long as needed to assess them and any related collaboration.
10. Your rights
You may access, rectify, erase, object, restrict processing, and withdraw consent by emailing , or complain to the Spanish AEPD (aepd.es).

We will publish updates on this page with a new date. If we add advertising or other tracking, we will say so here and in the cookie notice.
